Alexander Isak Robbers Instructed to Pay Only £1 Per Person from £1.2m Heists

Individuals of an Italian clan of thieves who took more than £1.2m worth of goods, including from former NUFC striker Alexander Isak, have been mandated to return just £1 each.

Siblings Valentino Nikolov and Giacomo Nikolov, their female sibling Jela Jovanovic and her child Charlie Jovanovic journeyed to the northeastern of the UK to burgle three houses in spring 2024.

The group of four were imprisoned for from a decade or less in 2025.

At a proceeds of crime proceeding at the court, Jela Jovanovic and the brothers Nikolov were ordered to repay £1 per person while Charlie Jovanovic must pay £1,135.

Following surveillance of the football club's facility for 48 hours, they then acted at the residence of Sweden striker Alexander Isak in Darras Hall on April 4, taking £10,000 in money, £68,000 valued of jewellery and the player's £120,000 luxury car.

The group, who were described by the prosecution as experienced touring burglars, wore gloves and face coverings, turned their mobile devices on silent as they approached their objectives and attached a number plate, which had been taken from a auto shop in a town, on to their vehicle with rubber straps.

They were arrested in the Birmingham on April 13.

Legal Hearings and Sentencing

Valentino Nikolov had denied conspiracy to burglary but was convicted by the court, while his three relations had all submitted guilty pleas to the identical accusation.
