Israeli citizens observe two-year remembrance of October 7th incident as Palestinian peace negotiations continue

Citizens have assembled throughout the country to mark two years since the Hamas-initiated offensive on October 7th, 2023, as negotiations continued in the neighboring country over an end to the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

Protester Atalia Regev stated: "We need do every compromise necessary for the hostages to come back home. But we really want assurances that we will be secure."
